Our Spirit

Die the Wolf Distillery was born out of the 2020 Oregon wildfires. We refer to our distillery’s concoctions as "spirits of opportunity" because a tragedy that affected so many people and businesses in Oregon unexpectedly led to an opportunity. In the aftermath, we were tasked by Patricia Green Cellars with producing what has become some of the most impressive and unique whiskeys on the planet.

Since then, we have been on the lookout for the grains, fruits, and nuts that define Oregon’s bountiful agricultural industry to create spirits that are expressive, unique, and delicious.

"Die the Wolf" ("Crepi il lupo") is an Italian phrase used to acknowledge someone wishing you luck while expressing confidence in your ability to succeed. It signifies overcoming the challenges that lie ahead.

Blueberry Eau de Vie

A wonderfully floral and herbal blueberry spirit that is supple, nuanced, and incredibly delicious. The blueberry notes are subtle enough to avoid being overly candied yet distinct enough that their blueberry essence is unmistakable, unlike most fruit brandies.

This versatile spirit can be enjoyed straight, as a delightful spritzer, or as a key ingredient in craft cocktails seeking a flavor that complements without overpowering the drink, while adding a touch of weight and mouthfeel. We would and have put this up against any of the top eau de vie and fruit brandies crafted anywhere in the world.
